Frame
The frame is the backbone of the chair construction. A wood frame provides reasonable support and durability in most chair applications for a great value. A steel frame provides optimal quality in strength and support for long-term chair durability.

Seating Types
Individual Seat
The standard single chair is the basic module for different configurations for all theater chair models. Most models have a 23" or 24" wide seat.

Loveseat
A double chair or wide chair setup with the middle arm removed provides comfortable seating for two persons.

Sofa/Couch
A customized wider version of the individual seat type allows for more variations or options in design the theater seat layout.

Reclination
Rocker
This mechanism hinges both the seat and back which creates a fluid rocking motion. This mechanism is typical of most commerical theater chairs.

Recliner, Manual
An internal mechanism, when moved by applied manual force, angles the seat back down and extends a concealed footrest into a flatter and more comfortable seating position. Manual control usually provides 2 or 3 seat positions.

Recliner, Motorized
An internal mechanism, powered by electric motor control, angles the seat back down and extends a concealed footrest like the manual recliner, but with the motor, an infinite number of intermediate seat positions are usually possible.

Row/Arm Configurations
Straight Arm
A straight arm module offers the standard straight row configuration of seats. All arm modules have cupholder options. Some have two cupholder options in a wider arm as well.

Wedge Arm
An angled arm module allows for the rotation or angling of seats in a row to "wrap around" toward screen. All arm modules have cupholder options. Some have two cupholder options in a wider arm as well.

Console Arm
This special arm module has either hidden storage or built-in storage for a remote or touch screen device. Some have optional angled top for easier viewing of touch screen panel.

Other Options
Pillow
Depending on your preferences and the design of your home theater, an optional matching pillow may provide the appropriate complement to the theater chair. Some have options for both decorative and lumbar pillows.

Ottoman
For home theaters that are more like recreational media rooms, a matching ottoman can be provided for certain theater chair models.

Custom Fabric
Most chairs have high quality fabric, leather, and suede options from which to choose, but if your tastes are more unique or specific, then you can provide own fabric/finish (know as COM - "Customer's Own Material") in making a truly unique theater chair.
