We are a design firm and not a custom installer. Our only involvement in the A/V field is to seamlessly
integrate the custom installer's electronic equipment choices into an acoustic environment that we design.

Although many people know us for our Traditional and Art Deco designs, we have been designing more and more Contemporary and
Thematic Theaters. Based on our experience with a very wide range of design styles, we encourage our clients to select a

We are not a contractor. Our services are strictly design-related. Since the vast majority of our clients are in the
process of building a new home or doing a complete renovation of an existing one, the client's contractor usually builds our
theaters. If the client does not have a contractor we usually recommend one in his area.

Our services usually include theater planning and interior design. However, we have the flexibility to offer our
design services, and also let the client's interior designer select the finishes, furnishings, and color schemes. This
allows us to accommodate situations where the client has already begun working on a home theater with his or her interior
designer. In that case, our job is to develop a full set documents that articulate the space and resolve
issues of acoustical and lighting design.

There are three major components to the cost of a Theo Kalomirakis Theater. The cost of construction - labor and materials from
framing to finishing - is the most significant cost to the project - typically, the cost runs from $200 to $400 per sq ft. The
cost of the right audio and video components that will "drive" the theater will vary greatly depending on your expectation and
budget level to create the appropriate experience - please consult with your audio-video consultant. If you have not established
a relationship with one, we will be more than happy to refer you to one of the many we have worked with across the country and
around the world. And our fee for design will be what brings everything together to create the masterpiece. Please contact us

Our theaters are specifically designed to enhance the acoustics of a particular room through a proper blend of reflective,
absorptive and diffusive surfaces.

We can design a theater in almost any size space. We have installed theaters in rooms that are as small as 14 x 20 and as
large as 5,000 square feet, each with equal dramatic effect. If the available space is large, we recommend the inclusion of
spaces such as outer and inner lobbies, foyers, bars, and powder rooms, all of which compliment the main auditorium.
