This classic theater combines architectural creativity, electronic ingenuity, and old-world craftsmanship to create an experience that Architectural Digest called "overwhelming". The theater is part of a palatial estate that, during the years of the Communist regime in the 1930's, was a humble room where the leaders of the Soviet Govt gathered to watch 35mm newsreels and propaganda films. Fulfilling the wishes of the current owners, the room was transformed into an opulent auditorium matching the splendor of the Russian palaces of the eighteenth and nineteenth Century. Winner of the 1998 CEDIA Award for Best Dedicated Home Theater.
