The first glimpse over the granite-topped footwalls only hints at how the soothing earth tones blend with neat linear forms. Black lines bisect the top of a column. A light box of intersecting lines forming squares and rectangles appears in the frieze between two other columns. Turn the corner into the room, and the focal point is the light-box frieze of lines and shapes nearly encircling the sitting area.
